How we support you

Interview
A one-on-one phone consultation with Emma to talk through your child’s background, your concerns, and possible support options.

Assessment Results & Feedback
Emma will prepare a detailed report outlining assessment findings, which will be shared with you and relevant support team members (such as teachers, caregivers, or other health professionals) with your consent. A feedback session will then walk through the key findings and recommended next steps.

Assessment
Depending on your child’s needs, assessments may be informal—such as observations and play-based interactions—or formal, including standardised testing and structured assessments, to gain a clear understanding of your child’s strengths and areas for support.

Therapy
Based on the assessment findings and agreed goals, tailored support options are offered to meet your child’s individual needs. This may include regular one-on-one sessions at home, school, or in community settings, as well as parent or carer coaching and home practice activities to support ongoing development.

Goal Setting
Emma works closely with each child and their family to create meaningful, personalised goals that support everyday communication and participation.

Review
Emma checks progress with the child and their family, adjusts goals if needed, and plans next steps.
